Peter Hager is an artist from Manila, Philippines, currently based in Los Angeles. Coming from a contemporary classical musical and literary studies background with a bone-to-pick attitude, their art attempts to find the fine line between act and action, sticking and not sticking, and attempting to approach a processual art that lives and breathes— often piercing heady ideas and concepts with a deft and comic levity.
Though often enjoying crushing the high brow into the low brow and seeing what comes out, they are also an avid music producer, teacher, conductor, and concert producer, having produced and ran LA-based new music series such as OK Composer and (hopefully) 60 Concerts in 60 Minutes.
